When you lose your teeth it can cause problems, such as making it harder to chew, lack of confidence and can make you feel self-conscious when talking, eating or smiling. It is for these reasons that many people look for a solution, but with a variety of options, such as dental implant bridges and dentures available, it can be difficult to decide which one is best for you.

Here are reasons why dental implant bridges are better than dentures.

Look and Feel Natural

If you need to replace missing teeth, you want it to feel natural so that you can forget that it is there when you eat, talk and smiling. A dental implant bridge is better than a denture for this reason. A denture can move or dislodge and often feel uncomfortable and take some time to get used to. With a dental bridge you don’t have to worry about this.

Prevent Further Deterioration

A dental implant bridge can prevent further deterioration of the jawbone as it is made from titanium, which is both strong and durable. Unfortunately, dentures do not offer the same benefit, and will not protect your jawbone in the same way as a dental implant bridge.

Easy To Maintain

Dentures need replacing every five to seven years, which, doesn’t help you to forget that you have missing teeth. They also require some additional cleaning to natural teeth, so can be a bit of a nuisance if you’re looking for a simple solution.

A dental implant bridge could last for a lifetime if it is taken care of. They just require brushing them twice a day and cleaning effectively between your teeth.
